Sarah and Regan's world has been rocked with an extremely hard blow. Their darling daughter Samantha became mildly unwell 2 weeks ago, and was put down to a virus. This has now rapidly accelerated to now being diagnosed as Liver Cancer. Sarah is due to have Baby number 2 in 8 weeks. Sammy will undergo immediate Chemotherapy treatment to reduce the tumour, and then an operation further down the track to remove the tumour. The best outcome is this cancer is curable. However, the family will be going through a very difficult time. This give-a-little page has been set up so family and friends who wish to support them through this time can do so. We send our deepest love, hope, courage and prayers to this beautiful family.
Funds raised will be used to cover basic living expenses given lack of income and compounding circumstances with a new baby due

Sammy's progress November 2016 3 November 2016
Hello to all Sammy's supporters, family and friends.
It is with great delight to advise Sammy has completed her 6 months of intense chemotherapy and treatment. She underwent a 6 hour operation to remove the remaining tumour on her Liver. The operation was successful and Sammy has now reached the great milestone of being in remission! Sammy celebrated her 3rd birthday on 29 October with many friends, family and guests attending. Her hair has started to grow back (beautiful blonde) and she is full of beans and ready to start getting back to normality. She will be returning to her much loved Preschool family at Natures Nest next week. Sammy is the most courageous, brave wee sole.
Her brother Alexander is doing great, he is such a happy, joyful wee man who loves his big sister so much. Sarah and Regan are attempting to return to normality. It is hard when 6 months consumed them with hospitals, intense worry and pain, their life thrown into turmoil. I cannot say how proud I am of them both. They have shown courage, along with protecting, supporting and loving their babies with such intense unconditional affection. I ask you continue to support Sarah and Regan as they build their lives back to normality. Sammy will continue to receive blood tests, scans for several years and as her hearing has been affected a little she will have regular hearing tests to correct the loss.
As I write this final update I have tears rolling down my cheeks. Their is not a day goes by when we don't think about the hardship the family went through. Our thoughts are always with others who are in or entering into the tough world of Cancer and will forever support 'The Child Cancer Foundation' and 'Cancer Society' and 'Starship Hospital Foundation'. THANK YOU WITH ALL OUR HEARTS. It is so hard to know how to express to you all that your prayers, support, donations, love from all around the world MADE A DIFFERENCE.
Love to you all Sarah, Regan Alex, Sammy and Family. You will always be forever in our hearts and when we look in our wee Sammies beautiful eyes you will all shine through. xx
