Help support Saravá Fest and Terreiro Mãe Oxum so we can keep bringing culture, joy and community to Aotearoa.
Mount Maunganui, Tauranga
The Saravá Fest was born from love — love for culture, community, and the vibrant energy that keeps us connected.
Behind the music, the food, the dance and the joy, there is a small spiritual community working with an even bigger heart: Terreiro de Umbanda Mãe Oxum, the official organiser of Saravá Fest.
Our terreiro is a safe space for healing, charity, education and cultural connection. We are a volunteer-based community, offering support to anyone who walks through our doors — no matter where they come from, what they believe, or what they are going through. Everything we do is rooted in kindness, inclusion, and service.
Organising Saravá Fest has been a huge blessing, but also a huge challenge. We self-funded this year’s event with love, determination and a lot of community help — but to keep this festival alive next year, and to support the ongoing work of the terreiro, we need a little help from those who believe in what we’re building.
If this festival touched you,
if you felt joy, belonging, music, culture, good food or good energy here…
please consider supporting us so we can keep creating this beautiful space for our community.
Every donation — big or small — helps us:
✨ support the terreiro’s community work
✨ create an even stronger Saravá Fest in the years to come
✨ keep spreading Brazilian culture with love, respect and purpose
If this project touched your heart, we kindly ask you to help us keep the axé alive.
Funds will support the terreiro’s community work, cover festival costs, help us plan the next Saravá Fest, and maintain our cultural and spiritual activities.
