My name is Jenna Ludick, I am starting this page to help with the costs of my Nanna's Immigration Lawyer. 13 years ago my Nanna and Oupa moved to Aotearoa from South Africa and have called this beautiful country home ever since. For the past 8 years my Nanna has been denied residency because of her health, however my Oupa was granted residency immediately. She has been living here under a work visa, which has been paid for by my Mum, Oupa and Uncle. Her work visa is coming to its expiration and we have now been denied the opportunity to apply for it again. The only possible way to prevent her deportation is by hiring an Immigrations Lawyer, which we cannot afford. If my Nanna is deported to South Africa, myself along with my two little cousins may never get to see her again. My Mum and I moved to New Zealand in 2019 to be closer to family as I grew up with no family around me, but now our family is being further torn apart. My Oupa will be living in New Zealand with our family, while his wife has to suffer in a corrupted country. Please help us from suffering another heartbreak.

UPDATE: August 2022 23 August 2022
Hi Everyone, just a very quick update on where things are at with mum's residency in NZ.
She is still on her Visitor's visa (expiring Feb 2023!!) and we are running on a fine timeline to get all the documents in order to submit to the NZ Minister of Immigration to request a Special Direction so mum could remain in NZ permanently. The documents requested by the lawyer has taken us several months to put together, and we are still counting days. Sadly, mum has been unwell, with stress-related illnesses, landing her in hospital a few times, along with other health issues - NOT related to her respiratory condition. This has resulted in bills well over $12 000, which of course is not included in our budget. We, as a family, are extremely grateful for the assistance we have received from everyone on this platform...all the donations, kind wishes and support. We are a very long way from reaching some sort of financial target to help cover expenses. I would like to request that you share this page/link with friends or on socials (where possible) to see if we could please raise a little more money to help with expenses. I am happy to provide more information, if anyone is interested in where the money is allocated to. Thank you again for your support and kindness. Every cent helps.
