I saw on Facebook rescue pages that two dogs had been neglected their whole lives - locked in a backyard with no love, limited water, scraps for food, and no medical care. They are now coming to my home in Whangaparaoa on Tuesday 4th March for a better life.

A group of amazing volunteers have done everything they can to ensure these dogs have at least some happy days. To discuss, please call:

Once I get the dogs they will be treated at Whangaparaoa Vets.

The story I saw online said:

"Game and Scarface are a bonded mother and son, aged 9 and 8, who have been confined to a back yard their entire lives.

They have been terribly neglected, fed only bones and require urgent medical attention, which is being organised by volunteers.

I visited Game and Scarface yesterday and found them to be so gentle and loving. They had their first outing in a car and to a park, where they frolicked in the grass and swam.

These beautiful souls deserve to know love and kindness in their golden years.

Seeking an urgent foster and a loving home where they can live out the rest of their days.

Game and Scarface are desexed and both are vaccinated, thanks to a lovely volunteer. At present, they remain in their back yard…..waiting…..for love."
