We need your help towards Mr Strays vet bills <3 Please help us save Mr Stray, he deserves a second chance at a better life
Wellington
Woohoo!! We finally caught him after a month! Who knows how long this poor beautiful cat has been abandoned, starving, cold & unloved for :( Right now we have Mr Stray waiting at the vet for a quick check up. Bless our stars the SPCA have offered to pay for the vet consultation and I am the owner and sole responsibility of Mr Stray. I do however have the option to hand him over to the SPCA - but by the sounds of it, they will put him to sleep because he is very sick :'(
Mr Stray definitely has the cat flu as his breathing sounds terrible and he has gunk - like conjunctivitis - all over his face - atm this is all we know. Mr Stray's fur is unkept covered in dirt, faeces and has furless patches that look to be ripped out from fighting :'( For a start he will need antibiotics, worm & flea treatment and vaccinations. In time he will need to be blood tested for FIV to start off with then every other disease and he will need to be neutered if he isn't already. I can imagine this is just the start of the path towards getting Mr Stray fit and healthy again
We can't afford to upkeep his health bills - a simple blood test to check for one single certain disease is between $80-150. However we can afford to feed him for the mean time so that's a start... My partner and I survive together on a medical benefit and are just scraping by feeding ourselves and our 2 - now 3 cats!
We have 2 other healthy cats so Mr Stray will be in quarantine and will be in a big cage for a while as he's still so timid and frightened.
Please, please share and/or donate to help us fundraise to save Mr Stray's life!! We'd love to keep and let Mr Stray grow into a loving, happy, beautiful healthy pet again but we cannot do this alone :( Even 1 or 2 dollars would make all the difference and build up in time... PLEASE HELP US SAVE MR STRAY!! He deserves a second chance at life
Oscar Vet Bill - 23/3/15 23 March 2015
Oscar's medication for another month was $72.40 - He's on vibravet again at 1/2 a tablet a day, which is 50mg (100mg tablet cut in half). And we stocked up on 6 Worming Tablets which was $14.22 and strike my kind heart down I brought the little cutie another catnip toy for $3.41 lol :)
