Sending sewing supplies in the Wairarapa Community
Help to send parcels sewing supplies to those in the Wairarapa community who would like to create with fabric and also for running costs

Come Sew With Me Charitable Trust is a Working Vintage Sewing Machine Museum with a difference, committed to reaching out and sharing the love of vintage and antique sewing machines so that not only can the public view these machines they can also use them to sew and mend with hands on tutoring. From level 3 of the Covid pandemic we have been providing those in the Wairarapa with supplies so that if they cannot Come to Sew With Me they can still sew without me in their homes .
While a Government Grant has helped with this project, it is intended to provide those with mental and physical disabilities and although many who benefit from our generosity are in this bracket I believe that we should reach out to all who are in need of the wellbeing that being creative with fabric and thread can bring.
We are also in need of funds to cover running expenses which are usually covered by donations from visitors

We have a Working Sewing Machine Museum where all are welcomed to see and sew on my vintage machines with tuition and encouragement
Use of funds
Funding will provide sewing supplies to those in the Wairarapa who would like to sew at home and will also with running costs. Any excess will be used to support the Come Sew With Me Charitable Trust. Any amount earned will help the cause

Sewing Supplies Bring Joy in Hard Times 28 May 2020
These lovely quilt tops were made using sewing supplies that have been delivered during the Covid 19 pandemic.
The person who created these said that Sewing makes her happy.
Another parcel recipient said that it helps her to not worry so much.
It always feels good to create beautiful things.
Fending off depression is a definite bonus too
