Shaan Wineeras fight against cancer
20yrs young and our much loved partner, son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, godfather and friend, Shaan has been hit with Cancer.

An amazing young man with the biggest heart! Shaan will always go out of his way to acknowledge you and will always be first their to give you a hand - it’s just who he is!!
Unfortunately at just 20yrs old Shaan has been diagnosed with Germ Cell Cancer in his lymph nodes (abdomen and neck). He is currently undergoing chemo in Palmerston North- the Drs are treating to cure and are going hard.
This page has been started to support Shaan and his support team (awesome whanau) in their time of need - not only for loss of income but the expenses that go with staying away, travelling and life in general to ease some pressure. Any help would be much appreciated.

I am a friend of the family - have been for many years in fact my Dad and Tracy’s dad were best friends! I have their permission to run this and funds go direct to Shaans account.
Use of funds
Shaan is on a long road to fight cancer. These funds will help him to keep things ticking while he isn’t working as well as towards travel while he and his support team travel back and forwards to Palmy for Chemo.

Wow,
What an amazing effort everyone has made since starting this page. On behalf of Shaan and whanau I would like to say a massive THANK YOU! It is really appreciated and words don’t seem to be enough but please take this as a personal thanks as there has been way too many people to thank you all individually.
Shaan is doing ok and is resting up as much as he can – some days are harder than others. He is back off to Palmerston North next Monday the 27th for another round of chemo so keep him in your thoughts and if you are still wanting to help feel free to keep sharing this page and lets see where we can take this!! I will update again soon and again Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, love and support! xx
