Please help minimize financial burden and stresses for Brooklyn and her beautiful whanau

Please help keep this beautiful family together! 5 days ago 11 year old Brooklyn Sigley was fighting for her life.

Wellington

Every parents worst nightmare, seeing your child unresponsive.

Saturday 17 September Brooklyn was discovered unresponsive by her family. Airlifted by Westpac helicopter to Wellington Hospital, Brooklyn was not in a very good state.

Diagnosis; type 1 diabetes which has also left her fighting kidney and bladder issues.

Brooklyn has amazing support surrounding her, however today (21/09/16) she has been flown up to Auckland childrens starship hospital with her mum and dad for further treatment. Unsure how long but we may be looking at 1-2 weeks away from home.

This family also have 2 more beautiful children, Aimee and Tyler who have up until today been next to their sister's side.

I have created this page to help release some of the immediate financial burdens in the meantime. Food expenses, accommodation may be required at some stage (even for mac ;-) family dog xo) travel costs, to help fly Brooklyn's immediate family up to be with her and dad (James) back when the time comes (as right now he is sole income provider) Mum (Rachel) has had to stop work to fully be with Brooklyn during this time. (as we can fully empathize with)

I am overwhelmed at all the love and support everyone has shown towards this beautiful whanau so far and never doubted anything less as this whanau would do exactly the same for you all too :-) Anything helps and now i have to let them know i have done this lol

This is just 1 way we can help, every little bit helps.

Therefore on behalf of myself and this whanau thank you for all your support, kind words and donations :-)

I am involved because this family has been through a lot, even before this. Rach is like my sister and her family is my family. There are many friends and whanau out there who can help, this page is just 1 way, every little bit helps. Kia Ora!

Today was a good day..  24 September 2016

Hi all, Brooklyn had a really good day. She was mobile to and from the loo. Eating and drinking lots. Her creatinine levels are still coming down. Fingers and toes crossed they continue to do so then she won't have to have dialysis. Thank you again for all your guys love and support. Today was a good day xo
