Silver Fern Railcar Project
To raise funds to refurbish the iconic Silver Fern Railcars to main line operational standards for future generations to enjoy.

Now in the ownership of the Pahiatua Railcar Society, the iconic Silver Fern Railcars have been saved for preservation for future generations to enjoy.
The aim is to get one Silver Fern operation and main line certified in the short term with a second to follow, this will be a major undertaking with substantial expenses.
Every donation will help make this project more achievable.
About us
The Pahiatua Railcar Society Inc was formed to save, restore and operate ex-NZR Railcars.
Use of funds
These funds will be solely used for the refurbishment of the Silver Fern Railcars and associated costs.
