Reaching out for your help to support Gregory and immediate family (parents and two younger sisters over this tough time.
Auckland
Greg's a beautiful hearted young man, kind, loves school, rugby and his friends. He's been away from school since July 2019 to get treatment for blood cancer.
Following Gregory's diagnosis with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, my sister and her family have had to make some big decisions.
Mum's taken a year off work without pay to care for Gregory and I believe she's made the best decision under the circumstances so she can make Greg's care and needs a priority.
Such decisions although necessary is often coupled with complicated situations like the ones their family grapple with now.
Bills as we know, are residual and they don't stop when the money stops. They've changed up a few things to save a few dollars here and there in order to meet bills and most importantly; keep their home, but staying afloat and raising a family of five on dad's self-employed income that is largely seasonal is challenging.
The biggest thing for mum and dad is that life doesn't change too much for the kids.
They're great people, hard-working and quick to help others, but may need some encouragement to ask when they need a hand; so I'm taking the opportunity to ask you on their behalf.
Please help this family give their kids the best care and Gregory a comfortable and stable household while he fights off his leukaemia.
Help if you can, or help them by sharing this page.
Thank you!

Windy G. Puepuemai
I'm aunty Windy (mum's sister) to Gregory and we would love your help.
Funds will help give their family a decent Christmas and lessen some of the financial burden from raising their family on a single income. Costs include but are not limited to travel and parking costs to Hospital.
Thanks guys! 16 February 2020
Greg's been back on the ward for just over a week now. Chemo drug toxicity lead him to lose control of all four limbs where he wasn't able to move and caused a nasty fall last Sunday. He was checked into ED with a fever the Friday before.
He's doing much better now and walking right again. Very low white blood count so staying in hospital till he's well enough to go home.
Thanks again, ma ia manuia! ❤️
