Fuel the dream of New Zealand Handball: Support Southland's champion as he competes in the 2024 Asia Men's Handball Championship

Join me as I embark on an incredible journey representing New Zealand Handball. Our mission: to compete at the prestigious 2024 Asia Men's Handball Championship. Currently, we're starting an intensive training campaign in preparation for the tournament.
The New Zealand Handball Federation fosters youth access to the sport, unites international communities and proudly represents our nation. Being the sole athlete from Southland fills me with pride. This is a unique opportunity for our region to gain recognition and develop alongside the rest of New Zealand.
A recent New Zealand Handball athlete was selected for a top club abroad and has opened doors to international exposure and travel. To succeed, I need your support. Your donation will enable me to travel from Southland to national training camps, tournaments, and club sessions.
Your contribution makes a meaningful impact. However, if the amount of funds raised is not enough to pay fees associated with the tournament or to travel to camps I will then use the funds towards establishing a handball club in Southland for Southland youth, something I've long intended to do, fostering their growth through this transformative sport. In gratitude, I will personally connect with each donor to express thanks and discuss our shared ambitions.
By day, I serve as a dedicated police officer in Invercargill. With 6+ years of international competition experience, I bring experience and talent to the handball court.

Use of funds
My immediate goal is to raise $10,000 to cover tournament fees, travel expenses, travel to camps from Southland, national tournaments, and matches. If I do not raise enough funds, I will turn my attention/use the funds raised on this page to instead starting a Southland Handball Club.

Hey Everyone! 🤾♂️
The exhibition match on the 10th of December was my first full match with the NZ men's handball team, and a HUGE success! It felt like the culmination of all our hard work coming to life. The understanding we built, the moves we practiced and feeling it click at times was awesome. ✨
The exhibition match was also our final training camp. Wow, the time has flown by... I’m confident of the cohesion and understanding between us as we gear up for our first match at the Asian Champs. It's not just about the game now; it's about representing NZ handball with PRIDE ❤️
Now, about the upcoming Asian Men's Handball Championship – To be honest, I’m nervous. But it's the good kind. The one fueled by the knowledge that there's more to learn, more to achieve. We're not pros, but we’re giving it our all. Getting into shape and preparing, ready for the challenge ahead. 🌏💪
