Antoinette has spent many years living with deep care and intention, supporting sustainable communities and helping bring the principles of conscious living to life in a real, accessible way. Through her work, she has shared the stories of individuals and communities rethinking how we live: growing food, building homes, reducing waste, and creating systems of care that are more connected, resilient, and in harmony with the natural world. From organic and locally sourced food to ethical clothing and thoughtful use of resources, she has consistently lived in alignment with her values.
Now she is facing a new challenge, as she begins a six-month course of chemotherapy followed by surgery. Alongside her medical treatment, Antoinette hopes to support her body with complementary therapies and nourishing care that reflect the way she has always lived. As a freelancer, however, her capacity to work during this period will vary, creating financial barriers to these healthcare investments.
We believe we have now raised enough to cover the cost of complementary medicines over the period of treatment, and we will close this page at the end of May. We can't thank you enough for your fast and generous response. Any further donations between now and closing will be used to support fluctuations in Antoinette's income over periods when she cannot work.

Use of funds
Nutrition and living costs, should income fluctuate, acupuncture, Ribraxx, and some key herbal supplements to support health and combat chemo effects, massage & reiki sessions to support healing, and, if necessary, intravenous vitamin C after chemo.

Dear all,
This is a final post to thank you all one last time before we close this page. There has been an incredible response to the call to support Antoinette through her healing process, and we genuinely believe that the money raised here, along with the heartfelt messages of love, have been truly life-changing. Despite the many physical and emotional challenges that came with Antoinette's diagnosis, she has been able to set in motion the path forward that she had initially not thought possible, stepping completely away from work for a period to focus on her recovery, with the support of specific complementary medicines. She has been working with wonderful practitioners since just prior to Round 2 of treatment, and feels confident that she's on the right track managing the chemo effects with the combo she's chosen – acupuncture, acupressure, homeopathy, and massage.
Antoinette has been feeling and looking amazing recently, with super encouraging feedback from her oncologist and all other practitioners, who are so happy with how she is responding to treatment. We attribute this positive result to the possibilities that opened with your loving response, whether in the form of financial support, messages, nourishing meals or any of the various ways of supporting her – thank you so much for being there in all your ways. It is truly having a healing effect!
