Support for Nige, Neco, Tyler and Charlotte. Losing your Life Partner, Mum and Best Mate is heartbreaking.
Nelson / Tasman
Rose was unexpectedly and suddenly diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer in May this year. As you all know they are an extremely private family, they intended to throw everything at this and hoped that treatment would provide some recovery. Rose, Nigel and the family went about this journey and processing it as the tight family unit they are.
Every intention was there to communicate with friends once she was back on her feet and able to have visitors. Rose was determined to get back home to Pelorus and connect with her friends and family again.
Unfortunately Cancer wasn't going to play ball - and it didn't respond to any treatment. Rose passed away on August 25th supported by family.
As you can all imagine the family are quietly dealing with this, complicated by COVID lockdowns as best as they can. They will be holding a public memorial service at COVID level 1 and it will be advertised at a later date.
Many people have approached family and friends wanting to contribute and support Nigel and the kids to get through the next few months of challenges.
Rose has been taken from them suddenly and far too soon. This is one small way we can support and help them get through the next few months, whilst cherishing and honouring Rose and her memory and wishes.
This page has been put together with support of Roses Family, by Tania - a family friend.
Nigel will be taking the next few months to focus on the kids and their well being. Funds will be used to support Nigel and their 3 children - Neco, Tyler and Charlotte at this difficult time.
