Tamai Sports exists to provide a holistic programme that provides maximum benefit to east Christchurch tamariki and their whānau.

Tamai Sports are beyond thankful to a group of mates who have made the generous decision to fundraise on behalf of Tamai Sports. Tamai Sports has made this page as a tool to receive donations for our nutritional food programme in 2024. Please see below the purpose of this fantastic initiative!
As a group of mates we’ve decided to compete in the Taupo half-iron man to raise money for Tamai Sports.
The half-iron man consists of a 1.9km swim, 90km bike and a 21km run. We’ll be competing as a mixture of individual athletes and teams.
All of us have been involved in various sports over the years and so we know how much it has to offer. There’s no better way to combine our passion for sports with the aim of Tamai Sports of breaking down barriers to participation! We’re stoked to be able to give back to Tamai Sports to help ensure they’re able to keep breaking down those barriers - whether it be coaching, equipment, transport or food.
Our aim is to raise $5,650. If we are able to achieve this goal we would be covering the cost of the 80 tamariki that Tamai Sports feeds once a week during the winter season.
We’d love you to get behind us as we take on this challenge for a great cause.
