Please support our Te Omanga Hospice 2024 Annual Appeal
Lower Hutt, Wellington
One in three people who die in the Hutt Valley receive the care of Te Omanga Hospice. It is your generous donation that enables our patients, their families and whānau, to receive comfort and dignity at the end of life.
This year we need to raise $5 million dollars, which is approximately 45% of our funding needs to provide free palliative care for those in the Hutt Valley with terminal or life-limiting illnesses.
During the week of 13-19 May we celebrate Hospice Awareness Week, holding our annual street appeal on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 May.
We simply couldn’t provide the service we do, free of charge, to all those who need it without the generous support of our community.
Te Omanga Hospice provides free palliative care to people with terminal or life-limiting illnesses in the Hutt Valley.
Our services are provided through an interdisciplinary team of specialist doctors, nurses, therapists and specially trained volunteers.
Funds will be used to provide a range of services for those in the community we care for. From enabling a patient to receive a visit from a nurse to having a biography written for a patient with a terminal illness.
