We’re building a Teaching Garden to help communities grow their food sustainably, and are raising funds for garden beds' material.
Auckland
Kaipātiki Project is a NFP environmental organisation and for many years we have been running a Teaching Garden, hosting volunteers, groups and workshops all year round.
Our vision is that everyone's food needs are met from local sources, and therefore we seek to support and enable people to grow locally as well as sustainably.
The garden is ripe for redevelopment. Help us raise funds to build eight vegetable garden beds where we'll teach community about sustainable gardening, composting and welcome volunteers to join in. Every dollar counts!
We will only be able to build as many beds as we'll have the funds for. If our target is overachieved, any additional funds will be reinvested in expanding the garden and free community courses.
Kaipātiki Project is a not-for-profit, community organisation, inspiring people to share in nature’s revival. Based in Auckland’s North we empower people of all ages to think globally and act locally to address nature biodiversity and living sustainably.
Fundraising $5,000 to build 8 raised vegetable garden beds. All money will go towards material: untreated macrocarpa, garden bed soil, cloche hoops and micro mesh.
