So far as a result of everyone's hard work we have kept Te Arai protected. Protected for the 16 endangered species who survive here and protected for all the people who love to come here to surf and swim because it is one of our last wild places. Help us to continue the fight!

About us

Speaking up about how special Te Arai is, and being a voice for the endangered species that live here, as well as for all the folks who love the beach in it's current wild, undeveloped state. We also look after the dotterels (and any intrepid Fairy Terns) during breeding season at Te Arai Canal.
