Help Terry defy his injury and age to get to the New York Marathon.
Ashburton, Canterbury
**ATTENTION** QUIZ NIGHT 15 AUGUST email your entry to: paraforester@gmail.com
Terry suffered a spinal cord injury in 2013 and managed to complete the New York City Marathon 2015 age 51. This marathon was completed with a flat tyre for last quarter of the race and ever since he has wanted to complete the race without incident. Ten years on there is an opportunity to take this challenge on again. ACC have generously funded a racing chair. Terry has also lost his job which allows more time for training. Luckily he has a wonderful partner Yvonne who is helping with training. To complete the race at least 6 months of training is needed. Training started in February. What is also needed to get to the New York City Marathon is financial support, your contribution will help Terry get to the start line. Thank you.
The money will used for travel and accommodation costs associated with the New York City Marathon.
