Brian Tamaki and members of Destiny Church are being sued in the Auckland High Court by Haus of Flash Ltd, Daniel Lockett & Sunita Torrance. The performers behind Rainbow Storytime, drag queen's, Coco and Erika Flash.
Daniel and Sunita need your financial support to help towards the legal costs associated with the case. Because it’s not right that people can spread disgusting lies and threaten harm to individuals and members of the rainbow community and their allies — especially for doing something as simple as dressing up, reading stories and promoting acceptance for all people.
The claim will be filed in the High Court in Auckland on Thursday, June 27 at 11.00am.
Sunita and Daniel have over 20 years’ experience as entertainers, actors, event organisers and educators. Both are police vetted and certified just like anyone else who works with children and young people. And they hold qualifications in educating and entertaining younger children, teens and adults. They have seen their business and personal lives massively disrupted by the views of Brian Tamaki and members of Destiny Church.

Unfortunately all of our Meta social media has been permanently banned so the only way we =, ourselves, can share our story and cause is through our TikTok account. But you can help to spread the word by sharing our TikToks and any other posts we have that still have relevant information to your own socials to keep us current.
This is probably the most important thing for us at the moment.
Our goal for 2026 is to give our power back rather than publicise the terrible acts of this group which are ongoing.
We won't be sharing their name or what they are doing but we will be sharing what we are doing and the good we did before we had to take this pause. We no longer want to give them the power and attention they crave, lets' give that energy to the communities they are trying to affect!
