WEKA has opened and is providing Ōtepoti with immediate access to mental health support through a new Peer Support Lounge in the CBD open to all and at no cost, with no stigma, and no barriers. We have the mission to help alleviate the distress that people experience by providing a safe environment and the resources that create coping mechanisms to strengthen mental health support right here in our backyard.

Use of funds
We are branching out and want to sustain the Peer Support Lounge right here in the CBD. The money will be spent on setting up and running costs, wages for experienced kaimahi, resources, education sessions and so much more. Every little bit counts!
