Help us keep The Haven open!

The Haven is a dedicated community centre for women and their families. Established by The Mums Clique Charitable Trust in November 2020 it is located in Silverdale on the Hibiscus Coast.

The Haven offers a drop in support space 5 days a week, where women and their families can drop in and have a coffee, look through our op shop and spend time with their children in our play zone while gaining support from our volunteers and increasing their social connection within the community. The main purpose of The Haven is to facilitate friendships and strengthen support systems for families in the Northern Auckland Region. We offer a variety of different playgroups and programmes from young mums groups to our teen girls programme, our dads playgroup and even a fun social ladies night!

We offer free essential items to families in need including nappies, wipes, formula, baby food, toiletries and frozen meals as well as essential baby items like clothing, cots, prams and bedding. We have counseling sessions available and an array of educational classes and workshops, as well as a massage therapist and a beauty therapist one day per week!

We are not government or council funded - we rely completely on the funds raised from our coffee shop/op shop, our business sponsors and the generosity of the public with their donations.

We need community support to stay open and cover our high operational costs (commercial lease, power, water, insurance, provision of essential items etc). We are 100% volunteer run and to date have no paid staff members, all of our volunteers donate their time to keep The Haven open and running because they believe in what we do and can see the direct impact it has on the community.
