Timmy the rescue kitten's eye operation fundraising

$340 of $1,000 goal
Given by 4 generous donors in around 5 months

Please help raise the needed funds for Timmy the Kitten to have his sight saved Please read updates on Timmy.

Canterbury

Timmy and his sister were rescued at 3 weeks old from an abandoned property. Timmy's eyes were badly ulcerated and he will definitely have to have one removed, hopefully the second eye can be saved with surgery when he is 5-6 months and it is safe to perform the surgery/surgeries needed. Both kittens are otherwise happy and healthy.

Feline Friends' involvement (page creator)

Feline Friends is a organisation that rescues and rehabilitates injured, sick, and abandoned cats in the Canterbury region. The organisation does not receive any funding, it's incoming money is gained by a lot of hard work and effort in weekly market stalls and sausage sizzles, which only covers food and basic vet bills, but we try our hardest to provide the best help and care to all cats in our care.

About us

We look after unwanted and homeless cats. Caring for all cats even the old, sick and timid other organisations turn away.

We tirelessly endevour to raise funds needed for vet bills, food, kitty litter etc through activities such as weekly market stalls, garage sales and sausage sizzles in Christchurch. Our cats are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and receive necessary vet care.

Timmys Progress  17 March 2016

Thankyou so much to everyone who donated for Timmys eye fund.

The vets prognosis for Timmys eyes was very good.

He no longer needs an operation on his eyes.

They said he has made good progress and has no pain. One eye will remain sightless. He has some vision in his other eye. It should not get any worse.

If you would like your donation back, please email me at felinefriends@hotmail.co.nz

Otherwise I will use the money to pay for our vet bills for other rescue cats. Thankyou once again. I will post photos of Timmy and his sister soon. They will be up for adoption also. I am looking for a home for them both together.
