We look after unwanted and homeless cats. Caring for all cats even the old, sick and timid other organisations turn away.

We tirelessly endevour to raise funds needed for vet bills, food, kitty litter etc through activities such as weekly market stalls, garage sales and sausage sizzles in Christchurch. Our cats are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and receive necessary vet care.

We have rescued and rehomed a great number of cats since the Christchurch Earthquakes. Handling on average a month over 30 new cats and caring for around 80 at present. Feline Friends endevours to find suitable homes for each individual cat based on their unique needs

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
