Help cover costs to save Titan. He is needing a CT scan and surgery.
Wellington
Anyone who knows me knows how much I love my dogs. They are almost all I can talk about. I have known Titan (the beautiful boy on the right) since he was a wee pup, lived with Titan for almost 3 years and have now been his very proud owner for a year and a half, since my friend, Titans former owner decided to move overseas. I couldn’t bear to see him re-homed because I loved him so much!
Titan is the happiest guy, and one of the goodest boys ever. He loves swimming up to his neck in calm water, pats and cuddles, walks, cucumber, the beach and his little sister Emi (the crazy girl on the left)
Unfortunately Titan has grown a vary hard mass inside of his bum which is blocking him up and preventing things from moving through... The ONLY option is for this mass to be removed. Or for him to be euthanised, which he absolutely does not deserve, he has so much more life in him!
First of all he needs a CT scan to see exactly where and how the mass is located, which we would have to travel to Palmy for. Then his doctors will be able to decide the best course for surgery.
This has been very unexpected and is a significant cost which I am unable to cover. I honestly thought if I was ever to face a bill of this size my dog would be so sick there would be no choice, not the case! I would be eternally grateful for any help to help me save Titan. I love him with all my heart and soul he is my family.
This is the estimate of cost for a CT scan and surgery. Any excess funds will be donated back to other deserving givealittle pages.
Titan is home 7 March 2021
I got to bring Titan home on Friday afternoon. I like to think he is happy to be home.. I’m definitely happy to have him home!!
He is a bit wobbly on his legs and I need to carry him up and down any stairs. But he can go on very short walks which he loves. Other than that he is just resting on his nice new memory foam bed. He does need watching to make sure he doesn’t do anything out of his capabilities.
He’s got a few medications to have at various times of the day, he doesn’t mind though because he gets to have fresh meat to help them go down. He also gets a heat pack on his hips twice a day.
After a few weeks he should be feeling pretty good and getting lose to being like new!
