Together for Gaza – From My Story to Theirs

I was born in Gaza during a time of war and occupation. My family fled when I was a baby, leaving behind our home, land, and extended family, becoming refugees in Jordan.

Life as Gaza refugees brought immense suffering. We were denied basic rights, unable to work freely or attend public schools without paying high fees. We were discriminated against in every system. We were stateless, invisible.

Despite the hardship, I completed my education. Later, I was able to resettle in New Zealand, where I finally found safety. My children grew up here, went to university, and built meaningful lives. Yet, my heart is still with Gaza.

What is happening there today is unimaginable. Homes are flattened, hospitals and schools bombed, and families torn apart. Over 100 of my extended family have been killed or are still missing. Others have been imprisoned.

This fundraiser is my way of doing something. The people of Gaza need urgent help. Children are starving, mothers grieving, families living on the streets. They need food, shelter, medicine, and hope.

Every donation will go directly to help families in Gaza. No middlemen, no delays, just real support for those who have nothing left.
