Final Push For Re-roofing Project
The Trust has done the hard yards in fundraising the bulk of the funds. We now need your help for the final sprint to the finish line.
Waikato
The Trust Waikato Indoor Heated Pool is down to the last $113,000 needed for our $1,260,000 re-roofing project. The roof is now so thin due to corrosion, you can put your finger through it.
More importantly, as part of this project, the heating system for the pool is being upgraded. Electricity is the pool's largest expense and modern technology means that that expense can be significantly reduced. That bodes well for the long term viability of this town asset.
About us
The Trust Waikato Pool Taumarunui operates an indoor pool complex, which offers learn to swim classes, water aerobics, morning lane swimming, and swim club, as well as recreational swimming.
Use of funds
Apart from the re-roof, the heating system will be upgraded, significantly reducing running costs into the future.

We have received donations from elsewhere and have made a number of cost savings. As a result, the amount still required has diminished.
