We will be giving through the donations the fundamental, and often costly, provisions to support the monk’s initiative. 100% of the funds raised will be used to buy text books, stationary and pay qualified teachers.
The Centre offers sessions on meditation and the core teachings of Tibetan Buddhist philosophy to benefit its members and the wider community. It also supports the education of children in Tibet and Tibetan monks and refugees who are in exile in India.
New books purchase from funds raised in 2014 20 January 2015
We are delighted to share some very recent photos from the Tsa ku village in Tibet. Funds recently released from all of the great fundraising events that took part in 2014 have been used by the monks to purchase books for the children. These books are handmade and are expensive to buy, if you look closely in the pictures you can see the beautiful Tibetan words that the children are learning. This was such a big event that parents from the area turned up to join in the lessons and read from the books. Funds raised by Tsa ku children in Tibet project are directly benifitng the 141 children of this area in Tibet by providing much needed educational resources, teachers fees and meals for the Children. We are really hoping to contribute allot more in 2015 in the way of resources and hot meals for the children whilst in school.
