As a charitable organisation, the Centre depends on the the generous donations of friends and supporters for its continued existence. Funds are needed to maintain the Christchurch Centre and to support our cherished Geshe.

Geshela is also deeply committed to providing as much support as possible to Tibetan refugees in India through the Tibetan Refugee Sponsorship Programme, to contributing to the education of Tibetan children in his home village of Tsa-ku, and to special projects that support Tibetan culture and Buddhist practice. The Centre offers sessions on meditation and the core teachings of Tibetan Buddhist philosophy to benefit its members and the wider community. It also supports the education of children in Tibet and Tibetan monks and refugees who are in exile in India.
