Teenager in urgent medical need.

17 year old Zakiyah Razia Bibi has been diagnosed with end stage kidney disease, she lives in Fiji. She only has 1% of right kidney function left.

Zakiyah went for her doctor's checkup recently and the results were not good, her left kidney is enlarging now and touching the other bodily organs due to working harder to compensate for the right kidney.

Her family wishes to take her for a kidney transplant in India as soon as possible.

All funds collected will be used for treatment/surgery, flights and accommodation.

If not enough money is collected in time then Zakiyah will eventually need the money to pay for on going dialysis in Fiji.

Money fundraised on Zakiyah update 8 February 2023

Hello friends.

I would like to inform you that since target was met for Zakiyah's medical journey, and after a portion of money fundraised on here was used to pay for the airfares of one of her siblings who accompanied her to India. The remainder of Zakiyah's money is with us and we are seeking approval from all donors if we may use it on a baby that is currently in India for surgery on her brain/head. We had assumed she would only have one operation but doctor's are now wanting top perform two more before all medical care is complete. So this requires more money towards medical costs, accommodation and other expenses etc. If more proof is needed please do not hesitate to ask. We are happy to provide.
