Volunteer Work Fiji

Started 6 years ago

Please help us fundraise towards participating in volunteer work in Fiji. Any help will be appreciated by not only us but those of Fiji.

Auckland

We are a group of 5 Kiwi Students joined along with the principle, Claire Amos, from Albany Senior High School located on the North Shore of Auckland. At Albany Senior High School, there is a program where are are to do a project every Wednesday throughout school, called an Impact Project. For this semester we have chosen to do a project that involved helping out the wider community, outside of New Zealand.

We have chosen to travel to Fiji, and help out the less fortunate which will happen early next year. Throughout this trip we will be travelling to Fiji to help with construction work. We will be helping out with volunteer agencies based in the country which allows us to travel there and visit many different areas which we are hoping to bring joy and help as much much as humanly possible in order to help the people we are working with.

Doing this project allows us to give and have the opportunity to deliver many different products such as stationary and self care products which places like these are sadly not able to have easy access to.

Use of funds

To purchase supplies to take with us which include many different things like, bras, women's sanitary products, school supplies and other daily essential needs which some people in Fiji lack.
