Help SAVE Waiau Tavern (baby brother to Waiau Lodge Hotel)

After the Nov 14th Earthquake, the Waiau Lodge Hotel has been cordoned off and unable to trade. Our hearts have been broken since and we strive every day to provide a service to customers, and wish to continue to do this, as failure or running away is not in our vocabulary.

We pulled out every resource, support, hard workings, and over 6 months we able to get a small bar built in the car park, for tourists of the Alpine Traingle and alike, and especially for our locals. This is when the Waiau Tavern was born, baby brother to the Grand hotel.

Unfortunately we need $92,000 before end of December to hold onto the tavern, or we may no longer have a pub in Waiau. This upcoming Xmas time we want to be able to provide the services we used to provide and continue to do so.

If we can get this tied down, then we will continue to use our kiwi ingenuity, and hard work to get the Grand Lady, The Waiau Lodge Hotel up and running, but until then we are being pulled backwards. Please help us to achieve this so we can make a lot of people happy.

My business partner and myself will continue living in our current living arrangements, as the focus is to not lose our Waiau Tavern!!!!

We want to stay and be here for the Waiau Community and tourists coming through. Being on one of the main hoghways to Kaikoura, this is possible!!!
