WEHAF- Uplifting community through connection.

The Widows Encouragement &HIV/AIDS Foundation (HEWAF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting at-risk woman, Promoting the well-being of their children and supporting HIV/AIDS infected female members of the community in and around Arusha, Tanzania.

WEHAF pursues clear objectives that concern both the rights of woman and girls in society and the promotion of individual abilities. In doing this they encourage woman to set up their own business and create sustainable sources of income while developing new skills. Fostering Entrepreneural skills, Education is a major focus to assist them in gaining their intergenerational outcomes IE Sewing, Community Food growing. In Addition to promoting emotional and mental support

While developing new skill sets and Entrepreneural leadership within the community Wehaf also provides food parcels into homes which supports Much of which comes directly out of there gardening groups. WEHAF are also involved in collaborating with local schools to implement together with the children on the schools grounds. This Creates positive community outcomes which will assist in the education of young gardeners for future generations Creating intergeneration restoration.

Every donation will go to assist in creating raised garden beds/ shade houses to produce fresh food for the local community which will pave the way for a healthier future. This intern means support for women and their communities. Creating independence and long-term relief. Asante!
