A Fresh Space for New Generations!
We’re transforming unused sports changing rooms into a vibrant youth space—right by the skate park and basketball court! This will be a place for young people to gather, connect, have fun, access services, and engage with youth workers. Thanks to Hamilton City Council for gifting us the space, we’re ready to bring this vision to life.
For nearly 50 years, the Western Community Centre has been a hub for activities, events, and community support. Now, we need your help to create A Fresh Space for New Generations!
Our Goal
We’re raising $900,000 to renovate and equip this youth hub, ensuring it’s a thriving, fully functional space. We’re also upgrading the kitchen to better serve our community’s events and programs.
So far, we’ve raised $266,167, with funding applications and additional community donations in progress—but we need your support to reach the finish line!

Youth Hub: A Fresh Space for New Generations 10 March 2025
For nearly 50 years, Western Community Centre has been a safe space, a launchpad, and a home away from home for so many youth.
This new hub will help us to continue that tradition, giving today’s youth their own place to build friendships, grow skills, and find support.
Future generations will enjoy this tremendous resource just steps away from the skate park and court where so many of our community’s best memories are made.
