Wheelchair of Freedom for Natalia.

The following is written by my friend Niki.

Natalia has always been a giver, no matter the task, the people, or the community. She is first there to lend a hand, offer advice (when asked for) and give emotional support. For the last 10 years Natalia has been an active member of the Dunedin Community, unfortunately osteoarthritis has taken over Natalia’s well being. With the osteoarthritis in her knees, hips & shoulder Natalia is finding herself more and more house bond and unable to continue supporting the community as much as she would like, her mental health is suffering as much as her physical health.

We are here to help Natalia gain a good quality of life again, to be able to support the community, be part of the network and rejoin her participation in numerous groups such as The Stitch Kitchen, All Saints Anglican Church, Natalia’s Pub ( a knitting & craft group held at the Central Library) and The Society of Creative Anachronism (an international medieval reenactment group). Also to help Natalia continue rehabilitation at the community pool and local physiotherapy.
