As we launch the Year of the Horse, we're celebrating the powerful connection between our riders, students, staff, volunteers, and the incredible herd that makes our work possible.

From transformative moments in our Riding for Therapy programme, to growth and resilience in our School, to the peaceful presence of the herd in the paddocks—every stride truly does change a life.

The numbers speak for themselves: equine therapy works. But our herd can only continue this life-changing work with your support.

Our herd are not just workers—they are part of our APC whānau.

It costs $120,000 per year to keep them healthy, happy, and ready to change lives.

These costs cover everything from farriers, horse feed, specialised vet support, medication, and equipment to give them the best possible chance to change their humans' lives.
