Your help will make a difference

Hi friends and family. In April this year, my daughter Eliza married the love of her life Jek. On the eve of their wedding, Jek's dad Edwin (who was visiting from the Philippines) was rushed to hospital in a status 1 emergency. Long story short, after intense medical treatment, Edwin recovered enough to fly back to the Philippines. Unfortunately he missed seeing his son get married, and his son now has the responsibility to pay off his NZ medical bill.

After an initial invoice of $40,000, Jek and Eliza have managed to reduce it to $25 000 by appealing to their friends and the filipino community.

For a newly married couple, living in Auckland, the remainder of this bill is a huge financial burden. They have been faithfully chipping away paying a regular amount fortnightly - but at their current rate, it will be a burden they carry for many years.

I would love them to be released from this pressure and be able to start their lives together with the freedom to save, plan and dream for their future.
