100kms to Christmas fundraiser to help support the work of the Mental Health Foundation assist in suicide prevention and awareness

Hamilton, Waikato

Mental Health is at a crisis point in New Zealand right now.

Josh Hall (Cookie 100) set himself a goal to raise $100k to help support the work of the Mental Health Foundation assist in suicide prevention and awareness, after losing his sister in 2020. On Saturday 25th September Josh completed the Josh & Tyler 100km Concept2 SkiErg raising $53,907.

This fundraiser is something that is very close to my heart as I know too many people who have lost their lives to suicide or who have experienced mental health crises. To help Josh continue to raise $100k I am going to hit the pavement and complete ‘100kms to Christmas’. Starting on 1st December and finishing on 24th December.

Nearly 50% of New Zealanders will experience a mental health problem in their lifetime. This is something we don’t want anyone to have to face on their own. Your donation will help the Mental Health Foundation of Aotearoa provide people, workplaces, schools and communities with the tools they need to build positive mental health and well-being.

Please help Josh and Kelly reach their goal of $100k by making a donation. It only takes a minute and any money you can give (no matter how large or small) will go a long way to helping the Mental Health Foundation help our most vulnerable people.

Please spread the word by sharing this post with your friends and family. Thank you so much for your generosity and support, it means a great deal to me!
