Running 12 marathons in 12 months to raise $25,000 for Cystic Fibrosis New Zealand – help me go the distance for those with CF!
I have cystic fibrosis (CF), a condition that impacts my lungs and limits my daily life in many ways—but it won’t stop me from achieving this. This year, I’ve set myself an enormous challenge: running 12 marathons in 12 months. This goal isn’t just about pushing my limits; it's about raising awareness and crucial funds for Cystic Fibrosis New Zealand (CFNZ).
CFNZ provides life-changing support for those of us with CF and our families. Their mission is to improve lives and increase the life expectancy for people with CF in New Zealand. I’m aiming to raise $25,000 to help them expand their reach and make a difference for those of us facing this battle every day.
Every marathon I complete will represent the resilience and determination it takes to live with CF, and with each step, I’ll be running for those who can’t.

2 Sleeps Until the 12th Marathon out of 12 12 December 2025
Wow. Today marks one year since the announcement of the 12 in 12 mission and also means I am 2 sleeps away from the final marathon of 2025 for CFNZ. A year that has delivered many memorable moments and has brought me so much joy.
I want to express my gratitude to those that have donated on this Give A Little throughout this year, no matter the amount that you have donated, it all adds up, just like this year it wasn't about 1 marathon, it was about 12, it wasn't about raising $1 for CFNZ it was raising $25,000 and you've all played your part to help me get close to that mark.
Currently I have fundraised $19,820 for CFNZ which is absolutely mind-blowing to me. So near to the $20,000 mark, with one marathon remaining I am confident we will get within touching distance of the $25,000.
Thank you all for your continued support, this means so much not only to me, but also my parents and also the Cystic Fibrosis community here in New Zealand.
If you would like to be present at the final marathon, it is on December 14, starting from 6am, next to the Grand Stand at the Auckland Domain.
