Nationwide

From July 2020 to June 2021 607 people in New Zealand took their own lives. To raise awareness we are going to run 60kms between us a day for 7 days starting Monday the 8th of November at 6:07am.

The 60kms will be split into 30kms (15km each) at 6:07am and 6:07pm from Monday the 8th till our last run on Sunday the 14th at 6:07pm.

We will be raising money for Lifeline Aoteroa:

Last year lifeline recieved 100,000 calls and 170,000 Txt messages.

On an average day 15-20 people at high risk of suicide or self harm are supported by a lifeline counsellor.

During the covid 19 pandemic lifeline has experienced a 25% increase in calls and texts from people in distress compared to pre covid 19 volumes earlier in the year.

Cmon New Zealand! Lets all play a part in helping those in need!
