CAB Te Awamutu - Help Us continue to provide free quality advice & support to our community

At the Citizens Advice Bureau Te Awamutu we provide information and options to people in the community with the aim of helping them understand their rights, ensuring that our whānau have the tools and knowledge they need to face life's challenges head-on.

We have been supporting people in Te Awamutu and the wider community for more than 40 years. In the last year alone we assisted 6761 people!

This level of support requires not only the time and effort of many volunteers but resources such as our office, phones, computers, information packs and so on. To keep our CAB open and available to anyone who needs it, it costs over $65,000 a year. We don't receive funding from central government, so we rely on the generosity of local organisations and communities to keep things running smoothly. On average it costs us $10 each time we assist a member of the community, so a donation of $10 or more is helping us to give life-changing advice and support to someone.

We are embarking on a mission to raise $5,000 so that we can continue assisting those who rely on our services. With your help, we can achieve this goal.
