Alex will be running on a treadmill for an hour for Youthline Central North Island so they can continue to deliver mental health services
Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui
As many of you know, mental health is a huge part of my life. I’ve been through some tough times and have relentlessly tried to reduce mental health stigma, fight for more mental health resources and advocated for those in need. I have achieved some of this by serving as the Youth Representative on the Youthline Central North Island Governance Board.
That’s why on Friday, February 28th, I’ll be joining Youthline Central North Island’s Fundraiser at Flex Fitness. I will be running for one hour, which is equivalent to one counselling session delivered by one of our brilliant counsellors. Every dollar donated will go towards counselling, mentoring, and youth development programs—resources that provide young people with the help they need when they need it most.
I’m standing up for mental health, one step, one dollar, and one conversation at a time. Will you join me?
