Raising funds in support of the Hawke’s Bay Cancer Society but chopping my makawe off for those who truly deserve it!
Hawke's Bay
Tēnei aku mihi e te whānau,
As many people may already know, I’ve always had long hair for pretty much my entire life. I barely cut it and I can’t remember the last time it wasn’t past my waist. In saying this, I thought it was about time that I stop being selfish and donate my long makawe to those who deserve it most. I’ve been inspired and honestly really moved by a lot of people to take this motion; In particular- Olivia Gray (donated her hair only a few weeks ago) and Jahna Watson (her fight for life) and of course our fallen Rangatira Patrick O’Brien who has moved the lives of thousands of people by his actions. All amazingly selfless kaupapa and individual courage to raise funds and awareness for those who suffer with mate pukupuku.
This will take place once I return from over seas before Christmas on the 20th of December.
All donations will be much appreciated in help of this great kaupapa. If you wish to donate, please don’t hesitate to click the link below! Tēnā kohikohi mai whānau.
The Hawke’s bay cancer society has helped many individuals/whānau who have been in financial distress in these difficult times. I feel that whānau deserve all the help we can give. So this is for them.
