Hi my name is Ashwini Maharaj....I'm 28 years old.

Originally from Fiji, I've always had a fascination with beauty pageants even as a child. My desires have always been to be a great role model and to work towards making for a better society.

I joined Miss Five Crowns NZ as this pageant encourages young women to inspire others and gives me the opportunity to share my experiences and values that I've learned with others, and especially appreciating life in general while valuing my inner beauty and to find the beauty in others.
