We are cycling the Taupo challenge to support New Zealanders manage life after they have suffered a brain injury .
Whangaparaoa, Auckland
During a trip to Queenstown We we’re bitten by the electric bike bug (well I was).
Andrew and I cycled from Arrowtown to Queenstown and that was me hooked.
After several months at home I finally purchased an electric bike and have been cycling as much as I can since.
So the next step was to encourage Andrew to buy one to… and he did.
The Taupo bike Challenge is our next venture. Our chosen charity is Headway, Brain Injury Association (Auckland) Inc.
HELPING NEW ZEALANDERS MANAGE LIFE AFTER A BRAIN INJURY
We did it 27 November 2022
Who would have thought not only did we finish however, we finished in 2 hours 13 minutes. I came 12 th in my category and Andrew came 18th..
Thank you all so much for your generous donations. We cycled this morning for a few kilometres along the lake before we headed back to Auckland in torrential rain.
Thank you to Don, Lisa Kathryn and Steve for joining us . Your kindness holds no bounds.
