BIKING FROM SEATTLE TO NEW YORK

Four Kiwis, and a German, have been crazy enough to accept the challenge of cycling across America, from Seattle to New York!

We're starting our adventure on May 10th from Seattle, crossing over the Rockys, through Minneapolis, through the Great Lakes, and finally finishing in New York. The entire ride should take us 80 days to complete and we will be covering 6,200kms.

We've decided it would be a great opportunity to raise funds and awareness for mental health as its such a wide spread issue in New Zealand.

This challenge is not only going to be physical, but one of the most mentally challenging adventures we will ever undertake - hence why our charity of choice is a perfect fit.

It's fair to say, this will be the most challenging yet rewarding experience each of us have ever decided to take on, and hope that this can be something to inspire others to step outside of their comfort zones.

We aim to raise at least a dollar for each kilometre, spanning a total of 6200km across America, from the West to the East coast. We know this a large sum, but this is for a fantastic cause.

We are still looking for a couple of last minute sponsors and products so if anyone has any ideas this would be most appreciated.
