Bring our communities safely together again

We all want to live in a place where we feel like we belong, where kids can play outside, people can enjoy their homes and neighbours know one another. We want places where we can relax, have fun and feel included.

Over the past two years, everyone has experienced social distancing and separation from people we care about. We've had to shrink our social circles into bubbles to protect one another. We've felt the isolation of lockdowns and have adjusted to online, on-phone or behind a window social contact. This time has left a mark. Many people now feel separated, locked down in bubbles, lonely and without a way to safely connect with other people.

We believe that it's now time to emerge from our bubbles and bring our communities safely together again. We provide people in Marlborough, Tasman and Nelson with opportunities to have moments of local connection, whether it be by putting on a local BBQ, supporting a sports tournament, running a workshop or hosting an event. Our aim is to make social connection accessible and spending time together normal again. We're committed to provide free, accessible events that safely bring our communities together and celebrate the fantastic places we call home.
