Your very own drinkdaaawg is participating in the SOBER OCTOBER CAMPAIGN this year.
Sober October is a campaign that was started to raise awareness for mental health and issues that’s occur around heavy drinking. This October I want to encourage everyone to have fun without drinking alcohol and raise awareness for suicide prevention.
Yes, I love a good drink and always end up going on my ridiculous benders lol but I’m willing to give it up for a month for a great cause. Suicide and mental health issues are one of many reasons lives have been sadly taken and it’s time for us to do our part in raising awareness and normalising talking about uncomfortable topics and working together to overcome them rather than brushing them under the rug or fighting the battle alone.
All money raised will be donated to the “LIFE MATTERS SUICIDE PREVENTION TRUST” these funds will go towards counselling and running the HOPE Centre.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated!
