24 Hour Ultra Marathon to raise funds for The Mental Health Foundation
I’m taking on an incredible challenge, running a 24-hour ultra marathon to raise funds for a cause close to my heart: The Mental Health Foundation.
Mental health is something that affects us all, and supporting organizations that help people navigate their mental health journeys is incredibly important.
Through this race, I hope to raise $2,500 to contribute to the essential work the Mental Health Foundation does, providing resources, support, and education to those who need it most.
Every kilometer will push me to my limits, but it’s nothing compared to the struggles so many face every day. If you’re able, I’d greatly appreciate any donations to help me reach my goal and support the foundation’s efforts.
Let’s make a difference together!

Ultra Marathon complete. 14 April 2025
I swapped sleep for running and completed the 24-hour ultra marathon, clocking up 128km and over 3,000m of elevation (turns out, hills don’t get any smaller at 3am). It was brutal, it was beautiful, and somehow... it was a lot of fun. My legs are still filing a formal complaint, but the real win was raising $950 (and counting!) for the New Zealand Mental Health Foundation. Every step and every mental battle was worth it.
