It's time shake things up and what better of doing that than a fundraiser.
Ive had my dreadlocks for 10 years now. I love them, they embodiy me as I am them but, y'know... it's just hair.
I'll be making each dreadlock available for the chop on 26th August at The Sprig and Fern in the Meadows, time tbc. There will be a bidding war to shave my head and all proceeds will go to Nelson Helicopter Rescue. It's something I have personal experience and appreciation for working in the fire service. It's also something that goes directly into my community which spans Golden Bay to Hamner to Picton. It costs $3500 to save one life with heli-rescue so let's raise some coins for someone that needs it!
Also my heads getting pretty hot.

They're off. They're done. Gone and never to darken my scalp again.
I want to thank every single person that has been involved or donated, the people that kept them gnarly locs, the people that scalped me.... everyone. Honestly so amazed with people's generosity, never knew my dome was so valuable. Certainly blew my $600 target out of the park.
Well if you're reading this hopefully it's a service you never need but you've contributed to towards helping someone else. Kia taku whānua.
