254,000 Kiwi children are facing hunger through this COVID-19 crisis. Let's support them while we dance our asses off!
Bay of Plenty
COVID-19 has had enormous impacts on all of us, especially for the 254,000 Kiwi children already living in hardship throughout New Zealand.
Friday April 17, 2020 marks my 32nd year around the sun. Now... before you go rushing off to your local mall to buy those extravagant gifts you had your eye on to mark such a monumental occasion, don't forget... we ARE under lockdown and you CAN'T actually go anywhere.
So, in lieu of those many gifts, let's try something else...
Let's send our hard earned cash to Kiwi children in need. Let's make sure they don't go hungry during this tough time and let's let them know that New Zealand has their backs.
AND let's do this while we dress in our most COLOURFUL threads, wear our BIGGEST hats, and dance our worries away with a virtual Zoom dance party, making April 17th the momentous and classy occasion it has always been.
I have teamed up with KidsCan and 100% of proceeds will go towards feeding and schooling New Zealand children under hardship right now.
I have paid for a Zoom upgrade which allows 100 guests in the same virtual dance party for up to 24 hours... that being said - you can raise money in a number of ways:
1) A one-off donation to our Givealittle page:
2) By sponsoring Nicole and I for every hour we dance on our Givealittle page:
3) By finding supporters for every hour that YOU dance and sending proceeds to our Givealittle page:
I am a huge believer in the power and medicine of movement. So pour yourself a tall cocktail and let's wriggle our little butts to liberation, people!
Let's connect, let's celebrate, and let's raise as much money as possible for these families in need.
Much love to every one of you <3
